Necrovore (US) Live in San Antonio, TX 1987

Necrovore are perhaps one of the most important bands in underground proto-death/black metal history to have never released an album.

Blurring the lines of blackened death metal, Necrovore can be likened to Death, Possessed, and Morbid Angel.

3 tracks from their live show in Texas, here are Divus De Mortuus, Toxic Decay, and Treacherous Abomination.

The Divus De Mortuus demo is perhaps one of the most important demo tapes in history, as well as the most bootlegged, and is bloody hard to find. Recorded in the band's practice room on a four track tape machine in March 1987, this ignited their underground legend.

The original is on a TDK D46 tape with distinctive and angled handwriting on the tape label of the band's name.

In 1988, the band rerecorded these songs in a more professional studio but very few copies of this recording were made and were only provided to those close to the band.
